The Supreme Court today began hearing the substance of the election petition filed by John Mahama.
Among other things, the apex court dealt with a request by Mr Mahama’s lawyers to file additional documents to their case seeking to review the court’s interrogatories ruling.
Although the court was to move onto the substantive case on January 26, the refusal of Mr. Mahama's lawyers to file their witness statements and initial arguments made it impossible.
