Wigan boss Steve Bruce is close to agreeing a deal for Rosenborg midfielder Anthony Annan. The Ghana international, 22, was on trial at Blackburn last summer.
The Daily Mail quotes Annan as saying; ‘There has been interest from some other clubs across Europe but I think I will go ahead with the Wigan offer because if it works out it will improve my game considerably.
'They have played well this season and have ambitious plans for the next season which I want to be part of.’
