The running mate for John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso, has said that prior to his appointment, another political party had reached out to him to occupy the same position.
He told Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM's Showbiz A-Z that "I tell you what, another political party approached me and I turned it down. So that is what people don't know."
Even though he did not mention the name of the political party, Kwame indicated that he could serve in political parties that shared in his personal ideals.
Asked if it was the New False, he said "certainly no. I would not have accepted that. I won't sit here and lie, my brother. Governance is serious business. We must to a point where we involved people with credibility, integrity, forward thinking, and who can proffer practical solutions, which will address the fundamental teething challenges, confronting the good people of Ghana.
He intimated that he accepted Alan Kyerematen's appointment because he has the solutions to Ghana's ailing problems and believes if he is given the nod, he will make great improvement in the lives of Ghanaians.
According to Kwame Owusu Danso, also a lawyer, broadcaster and PR consultant, he would be first Vice President to resign if the Movement for Change wins power and things do not go as expected.
