The Anlo Afiadenyigba Traditional Area in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region has outdoored the Chief of Dome-Kpornuga, Togbi Ekpē Subo V, Agbotadua Amesimeku, and Mama Yeshike Subo II at a colorful coronation ceremony.
Rich Ghanaian culture and heritage were on full display at the historic ceremony which was characterised by drumming, singing and merry making.
Traditional leaders from across the length and breadth of the country gathered to witness the performance of the final traditional rites for the newly enstooled Chiefs and Queen.

Togbi Ekpē Subo V is a senior specialist obstetrician and gynecologist, serving at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Assisted Reproductive Technologies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
He also serves as a Co-President of the Volta Health Network Plus which provides multidisciplinary healthcare to under-served communities across Ghana.
Agbotdua Amesimeku is a Development Expert with Plan International Ghana, serving as its Sponsorship Coordinator, while Mama Yeshike Subo II is a hospitality expert specialised in catering services.

In Togbi Ekpē Subo V’s maiden address, he underscored the need for a “paradigm shift” towards addressing the pressing challenges of the community, ranging from infrastructure and logistics deficit in the health and education sectors to loss of livelihoods among others.
He promised to spearhead projects in the health and education sectors in the immediate future to promote excellent academic performance and improved healthcare in the area.

He hinted at a soon-to-be-announced award scheme to students to encourage students to take keen interest in their academic activities aiming to achieve excellence.
“While I call on the government to support, I challenge all youth and well-meaning Adzigo citizens to respond to a clarion call to take up the projects to modernize our classrooms, rebuild our clinic structures and elevate it to hospital status”, he said.
He also emphasised the urgent need to complete the Weta-Anlo Afiadenyigba-Havedzi road “to improve access to the fishing communities, thereby driving investors to the enclave”.
