Mr. Pius Adanuti, Kpando District Chief Executive, said government has packaged several interventions to reduce rural poverty and improve their quality of life.
Mr Adanuti was inaugurating a 363 million-cedis (36,300.00 Ghana Cedis) Community Based Health Planning Services (CHPS) compound for the Anfoega Bume Clinic in the Kpando District on Friday.
The International Development Association of the World Bank and Agence Francaise Development funded the project with the Kpando District Assembly, bearing 10 per cent cost of the project.
Mr Adanuti praised the two development partners for their support and appealed to beneficiary communities to engage in self-help projects.
Miss Mercy Kwada, Assemblywoman for the area, said the community has provided furniture worth five million cedis (GHc500.00) for the clinic.
