Ghana midfielder Andre Dede Ayew has joined his Olympique Marseille team mates for the week-long pre-season training camp at Saint-Jean-de-Luz in the French Basque region.
The 20-year-old’s future has been speculated after an impressive World Cup performance and his return to the French champions is expected to quell the rumours.
He spent last season on loan at Arles Avignon and aided their promotion to the Ligue 1 this term.
Ayew and three other World Cup stars- Steve Mandanda, Taye Taiwo, Mathieu Valbuena- were up at 07:00 hrs on Monday for a very early run.
They stretched to finish off before the scheduled training session at 10:30 hrs.
Andre has joined his younger brother Jordan who is also named in Didier Deschamps’ 24-man squad.
His current contract runs out in the summer of 2011.
