Belgian side, R.S.C Anderlecht are set to complete the signing of Majeed Ashimeru on an initial six month loan deal.
Ashimeru, who won the domestic double with Red Bull Salzburg last season made a combined 33 appearances for the club last season scoring two goals and assisting six.
However, this season, the Ghanaian has featured in just 11 games so far starting only five.
Various clubs across Europe expressed their interest but Anderlecht do have the most concrete offer and are close to signing the former WAFA player.
Anderlecht are interested in taking Ashimeru on a six month initial loan deal with an option to buy.
So far, Salzburg are quoting €6 million for the 23-year-old and Anderlecht will have to cough that amount to make the deal permanent in the summer.
Ashimeru has made 35 appearances for Salzburg, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
