"The late father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, was a man who understood the power of cultural connectivity. Before the formation of this country, he had set his sights on creating a museum to help his people understand how this land has always been a bridge between the East and West, fostering roots of understanding and connectivity. Almost 60 years later, we find ourselves in the Saadiyat Cultural District, a place celebrating human capabilities in the world of art and culture."

These were the opening remarks by the Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, during a brief interaction at the Manarat Al Saadiyat. They encapsulate the ethos of what promises to be a global haven for art and culture. It's a legacy transcending its founders, offering limitless possibilities through culture.
