Ghana striker Matthew Amoah has carried his fine scoring form from the previous season into the new one, scoring on the opening day of the Dutch Eredivisie.
Amoah helped NAC Breda to a 2-1 win over Den Haag on Sunday as the new Dutch season got underway over the weekend.
The Black Stars striker scored the second goal for Breda in the second half before Den Haag pulled one back eight minutes later.
The goal by Amoah in the Eredivisie was his third so far this season in competitive action after scoring twice to get NAC Breda to the third qualifying stage of the Europa League.
