Mother for Active Non-Violence, an Accra NGO has called on government and stakeholders in peace building to allow women to participate in peace processes locally and internationally.
In a message in Accra to mark the International Women's day, the NGO said women should be supported through capacity building and advocacy and constructive conflict handling mechanisms.
The message, signed by Mrs Becky Adda-Dontoh, President said women were natural peace makers.
They should therefore be in the forefront of peace building and conflict transformation processes.
It called on women to take interest in peace building in their communities and national levels as a whole.
