Ghana international right-back, Alidu Seidu, has sustained an ACL rupture in his left knee, his club Stade Rennes has confirmed.
The 24-year-old was substituted in the first half in Rennes’ 1-0 away loss to Lille OSC this Sunday, with former Barcelona centre-back Mikayil Faye replaced him.
Medical exams undertaken on Monday confirmed the severity of the injury. Seidu is not expected to return for the remainder of the season.
Titulaire ce dimanche face au LOSC, Alidu Seidu a dû sortir sur blessure après 18 minutes de jeu.
