President Nana Akufo-Addo will tonight address the nation for the 17th time on measures his administration has put in place to fight Covid-19.
This televised address comes at a time when the country’s active Covid-19 cases continue to drop significantly as reported by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
In his last address to the nation, the President announced the reopening of the Kotoka International Airport as well as a decision by stakeholders to allow JHS 2 and SHS 2 students to return to school.
He, however, said the remainder of the academic year for all nursery, kindergarten, primary, and JHS 1 and SHS 1 students has been postponed to 2021.

These addresses have been a major part of Ghana’s fight against Covid-19 since the first two cases were recorded in March this year.
The address will be aired live on JoyNews, JoyFM, and also streamed on Myjoyonline.com.
