The Minister of Roads and Highway has indicated that the Akufo-Addo led government is set to complete 20 out of 25 interchanges by 2024.
According to Kwasi Amoako-Attah, the government knows what he is about and convinced the projects would be completed in the said year as programmed.

“This is a government that is focused. This is a government that knows what is about... Members of the press mark me down that by 2024, 20 interchanges are likely to have been fully completed like we would have had and we would have talked as many as 25 interchange in our country,” he said.
Mr Kwasi Amoako-Attah, in a press conference on Sunday, also disclosed that the Pokuase interchange will be officially commissioned in July to ease traffic on the Pokuase road.
“God willing first week in July His Excellency the President will officially commission the Pokuase interchange.
“It would have been brought to total full completion and this is a project that got started from the scratch by President Akufo-Addo’s government and this is an interchange which is the first of its kind in West Africa,” he stated.
He added that “this had never happened in any administration in our country since independence 64 years ago.”
