President Akufo-Addo is set to address the nation tonight on measures his administration has taken to curb the spread of Covid-19.
His 19th televised address comes off at a time when the country’s active cases have seen significant surge.
According to the Ghana Health Service, the country's Covid-19 case count has steadily increased.
In just three weeks the nation has recorded 466 new cases with 23 deaths sending the active cases to 973 from a previous, 507.
Ghana first recorded Covid-19 in March, since then, government has imposed a number of restrictions to curtail the spread.
However, in his recent addresses, the President has gradually eased some of the restrictions to bring back normality in the country.
The address will be aired live on JoyNews, JoyFM, and also streamed on Myjoyonline.com.
