President Akufo-Addo left Ghana on Monday for Sierra Leone to attend the 60th Independence Day celebration of that country, which comes off on Tuesday.
The President is attending the event in his capacity as the Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority.
He was accompanied by senior officials of Government including the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
The President is expected to return on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will act in his stead.
