Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has hit back at former President John Mahama for saying that the current administration's failure to continue health projects he started has badly affected Ghana's Covid-19 fight.
Dr Bawumia said the former President was embarrassing himself by looking and comparing data on infrastructure between his administration and the current government.
The vice President made the remarks on Monday while interacting with the media after chairing a coronavirus meeting at the Jubilee House.
Dr Bawumia also said no government in the 4th Republic has delivered so much infrastructure during its first term than the Nana Akufo-Addo led government.
On leadership in times of crisis, Dr Bawumia said Nana Akufo-Addo has demonstrated better leadership and competence in managing the coronavirus crisis than Mr Mahama did when Ebola hit in Africa.
