AirtelTigo has won three prestigious awards at this year’s Ghana Information Technology and Telecom Awards (GITTA) in Accra.
AirtelTigo received awards in the following categories: Marketing Campaign of the Year – ‘To Gu Me So promotion’, Innovative Product of the Year – ‘Fuse Voice Bundle’ and The Digital Influencer of the Year – ‘Alex Offei Lartey.’
The Marketing Campaign of the year went to AirtelTigo ‘To Gu Me So’, a reload and point-based promotion which was designed to reward over 50,000 AirtelTigo customers with over One Million Ghana Cedis Cash, and other amazing prizes across the country. The Campaign also stood out for its captivating nature through responsible communications, music, and engaging market activations, leading to its high popularity among Ghanaians.
The innovative product of the Year, Fuse Voice bundle offers voice minutes to call all networks. This product was designed with the customer in mind offering them affordable bundle options to choose from on *567# or *111#.
Head of Digital Marketing and New Product Development at AirtelTigo, Alex Offei Lartey’s outstanding leadership contributions to driving various digital innovations at AirtelTigo was also given recognition as he bagged the Digital Influencer of the Year.
Speaking on the awards, Nancy Assor Asiedu-Amrado, Head of Brands and Communications, expressed her delight at the recognition of the innovative products the company has offered to its customers over the years.
