An aspiring Municipal Chief Executive of Ahanta West Constituency in the Western region, Ing. Ebenezer Aidoo, has pledged to help Hon. Mavis Kuukua Bissue-Boateng, the newly elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for the constituency to consolidate Ahanta West seat if the President appoints him as the MCE.
Ebenezer Aidoo, who is a former Vice Chairman of the Constituency and now a member of the NDC National Youth Working Committee in an interview on Joy News’ AM Show, said, Hon. Mavis Kuukua Bissue-Boateng needs the support of all to succeed and that he is committed to that cause.
“From day one I have been with her throughout. I supported her during her primaries and made significant impact on her campaign to win this seat and I am excited about it.”

Our aim now is how we can consolidate this seat as the NPP has traditionally won it. We will push together to drive H.E John Dramani Mahama’s vision of improving our roads, healthcare, sanitation etc. and also get jobs for the unemployed youth in Ahanta West” he added.

He expressed the hope that the party will turn around the fortunes of the area in the next four years.
I know that in four years we will turn things around and help develop our municipality and with that we can go back to the people to render a good account that will help my sister Mavis Kuukua Bissue-Boateng to continue as the MP in 2028.

Three aspirants have been successfully vetted for the role including Ing. Ebenezer Aidoo.
