The Management of Agricare Limited, producers of poultry feed concentrates on Friday donated 20 bags of 20 per cent layer concentrates valued at 6.7 million cedis to Mr Kwaku Amo of Mfensi in the Atwima Nwabiagya District, for emerging the District Best Poultry Farmer at the National Farmers' Day celebrations last year.
Mr S B Appeadu, Managing Director of the company, who performed the ceremony at Nkawie, said the company was impressed by Mr Amo's strict adherence to technical advice from the company, which had earned him the award.
He said the company would continue to offer periodic technical advice to its customers in order to boost the poultry industry in the country.
Mr Thomas Ofori Donkor, Atwima-Nwabiagya District Chief Executive, expressed appreciation to Agricare Limited, for its contribution and called on other organizations to follow the example.
Mr Amo thanked the company for the honour done him.
