Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste, King Promise has added a new award to his music achievements.
The 'Terminator' hitmaker has won the Best Male West Africa award at the 2023 edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) which was held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas.
King Promise beat off competition from Satrinos Raphael, Omah Lay, Buju, Adekunle Gold, Black Sherif, Asake, Didibo, and Tonton.
Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, took home the Best Francophone Artiste award, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Nigerian singer Timaya. Rema was adjudged the Artiste of the Year, Davido's Timeless' won Album of the Year.
The African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) which is in its 10th year, celebrates musicians from Africa.
