The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is just two days away from commencing in Ivory Coast. This year's edition will be the 34th since the inception of the continent's flagship tournament in 1957.
The tournament in Ivory Coast will also be the third with 24 teams following the expansion in the 2019 edition.
Senegal are the defending champions having beaten Egypt on penalties to clinch the trophy for the very first time in Cameroon.
