Members of the Addo Kufuor fan club have been advised to interact with the executives of the New Patriotic Party in the various constituencies to choose Addo Kufuor as the party's flag bearer for the 2008 presidential elections.
Alhaji Abubakari Adams, chairman of the Kumasi-Suame branch of the club gave the advice when he addressed supporters of the Nyinahin Branch of the club at Nyinahin on Monday.
Alhaji Adams urged them to respect the executives and tell them the achievements of Dr Addo Kufuor as Minister for Defence.
The Suame branch chairman said "Your behaviour and attitude towards the executives and NPP supporters would win confidence and the opportunity for Addo Kufuor".
Alhaji Adams said the NPP and the nation need a person with the same vision and ideas like president Kufuor to lead them.
He described Dr Addo Kufuor as a man with vision, commitment, devotion and integrity.
Nana Asem Frimpong, Nyinahin Sanaahene who is the patron of Nyinahin branch appealed to the members to desist from drug abuse, drunkenness and gossiping and rather work hard to win the admiration of both the NPP executives and the electorate.
Nana Frimpong advised the members to unite and campaign for Dr Addo Kufuor as the next president of Ghana.
