The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC has opened a new branch in Ejisu, Ashanti Region, demonstrating its commitment to integrating digital platforms and brick-and-mortar channels to bring banking closer to its customers and the general public.
The new branch, located next to the Ejisu Divisional Police Office (GPS address: AE-0000-9653), opened on July 1, 2024.
The Bank will continue operating its renovated Ejisu Market Agency to complement its digital platforms and the new branch.
This new branch increases ADB’s network to 89 locations, including 83 branches and six agencies.
It offers comprehensive banking services such as Commercial & SME Banking, Trade Financing, Corporate Banking, Retail & Consumer Banking, Electronic Banking, Asset Financing, and Parastatals & Institutional Banking. Additional services include remittance and collections.
The expansion aligns with ADB’s strategy and responds to customer requests in Ejisu and surrounding areas. Managing Director Alhaji Alhassan Yakubu-Tali emphasized that this move is part of ADB’s broader vision to expand its footprint nationwide, making banking more accessible.
“Over the past few years, ADB PLC has pursued an ambitious growth strategy, enhancing service delivery, adopting innovative technologies, and expanding our branch network to better serve our customers,” said Yakubu-Tali.
“The new branch in Ejisu will meet diverse banking needs and provide greater accessibility.”
Acting General Manager of Retail Banking, Frank Okyere-Adarkwa highlighted that the new branch reinforces ADB’s retail vision of accessibility.
Area Manager for Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo regions, Felix Segu Eshun, expressed excitement about deepening banking relationships and reaching new markets.
Tactical activities, including market storms, sales activations, and media engagements, have been implemented to create top-of-mind-awareness (TOMA) for the new branch and support the sales drive.
