The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB) has held a customer appreciation cocktail for customers in the Ashanti region with a pledge to continue serving them with better products and services.
The Board Chairman of the Bank, Lawyer Alex Bernasko, in his remarks commended the customers for doing business with the bank and their continuous loyalty over the years.
“As a business, ADB has become what it is today, thanks to your patronage over the years which has largely contributed to us expanding our services nationwide,” he added.
The appreciation cocktail was to show appreciation to its customers in the Ashanti region and provide the opportunity for customers to interact and engage closely with the Board and Management of the bank.
In reinforcing ADB’s commitment to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of its customers, Lawyer Bernasko disclosed that the bank has since 2017 improved on its IT Infrastructure and also embarked on branch expansion and relocation drive to bring banking closer to customers.
In addition, the bank recently procured brand new Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) to replace obsolete ones in some branches including those in Kumasi.
“Though satisfied with the improvements chalked by the bank in the period, I would agree that there is the need to do more and I wish to assure you that more will be done to meet the aspirations of the changing needs of you our cherished customers,” he said.
Lawyer Bernasko stated that the bank has taken the necessary steps to address customer challenges including beefing up the capacity at our credit risk department and also continuously train staff to improve on their customer service delivery.
In addition, the ADB Board Chairman mentioned that the bank is currently ISO 27001-13 certified which meant that it had met the International Standard Organization requirement in ensuring customer information security.
The Managing Director, Dr. John Kofi Mensah said the management was determined to position the bank as the bank of choice for Ghanaians, through provision of better products and services.
He said the bank prior to 2017 was a loss-making institution but with a proper strategy from the board and management, the bank was now making profit.
