Ad Dynamo, an Aleph Group, Inc company and Africa’s leading digital media sales house, today announced the opening of the first physical office in Ghana to better support our advertising clients and partners.
While Ad Dynamo has had remote operations in Ghana for more than a decade, this is the first time that it will have an on-the-ground presence in the country. The offices, which will be located in Accra will consist of a team primarily in sales positions.
The company’s expansion comes off the back of its acquisition in January 2022 by Aleph Group, Inc, the leading global enabler of digital advertising in emerging countries. The 100% acquisition, gives Aleph Group an important footprint in Africa, including in Ghana – a rapidly growing digital advertising market.
“With more than 53% of Ghana’s population online and internet access growing more than six percent between 2020 and 2021, it became clear that we needed to expand our in-country operations,” says Ad Dynamo CEO Sean Riley. “As Ghana’s digital ecosystem continues to grow and flourish, it will be more important than ever to ensure that businesses have the best possible advertising solutions on the world’s biggest digital platforms.”
Technology giants including Twitter, Snapchat, Verizon Media, and Spotify entrust Ad Dynamo to exclusively represent their media sales in Africa. Aleph Group, Inc as a holding company has the largest global footprint representing over 30 platforms in 90 countries on 4 continents, and connecting over 15,500 advertisers to 3 billion connected consumers on the world’s leading digital platforms.
Ad Dynamo sets itself apart from other digital media sales houses by offering dedicated sales teams for each partner it represents. It also doesn’t charge a markup on any media, meaning that ad buyers have price transparency across all advertising investments.
In addition to the launch of a physical office, Ad Dynamo will also launch Aleph Group’s signature digital education programme, Digital Ad Expert in Ghana. The free programme aims to educate, certify and connect thousands of Africans with the digital skills needed to succeed in a rapidly digitising economy allowing them to compete at a global level for jobs in this growing industry.
“With a median age of 21, it’s critical that we equip young people in Ghana with the skills they need to succeed online,” Riley concludes.
The Digital Ad Expert Programme is accepting applications for Ghana’s first 12-week peer-to-peer learning program. Applications are now open and will end on July 18th 2022. The first cohort is scheduled to kick off on July 25th, 2022 and candidates can apply to complete a free 3 month comprehensive digital ad degree here.
