The Wealth Concourse and Mentoring Summit is set to come off on Sunday, May 29 near the British Council in Accra.
Aside from the Intentional Wealth Concourse and Mentoring Summit, a book signing is also scheduled to take place at the Africa Trade House (AfCFTA Secretariat).
About 200 participants comprising academics, medical doctors, bankers, tertiary students, lecturers, entrepreneurs, and artisans among others, are expected to grace the occasion for this important conversation.
The event will close with a graduation ceremony for the first cohort of the TDM Club 100 participants and a book signing of Dr Evans Duah’s book, “Intentional Wealth 2.0, Building with the Pentagon Wealth Model”.
The Intentional Wealth Concourse, which has already been held in two major cities - Kumasi and Takoradi; seeks to bring together sharp minds and eminent personalities to provide pragmatic solutions and contribute to the enhancement of the ‘personal economy’ of individual participants and the nation at large.
Honouring this event will be Imane Ouaadil, Morocco’s Ambassador to Ghana; Dr John Kumah, Deputy Finance Minister and MP for Ejisu Constituency; Michael Nana Sasu, Special Aide to the President's Communications Director; Dr Myles Christian Hagan, Head of E-Banking Operations at UMB and Anthony Twum-Barimah, Senior Program Manager at Microsoft.
The rest are Felix Kyei Asare, Director of Cyber Security Operations at Putman Investment USA; Dr Genevieve Duncan Obuobi, Lead Consultant at Tarragon Edge Limited and William Owusu Demitia, a Lecturer, Tax Consultant, and author.
Other great personalities will also grace the event.
Key topics that will be treated under the theme “Shaping the next generation of Thinkers and Leaders” include, Having a global perspective of issues, Maximising available opportunities, The role of the youth in nation-building, Networking and Marketing in Business, Building a purposeful career life, Tools and Tips to help you 10x your value and Social and Political Leadership
In addition to these major areas of discussion, there will be a Q&A session with picture taking, graduation for the first cohort of The Duah Mentoring (TDM) Club 100 members, and a book signing with Dr Evans Duah.
The event is hosted by Dr. Evans Duah who is a French and English-trained business expert. He was trained in France (Europe) and Morocco (North Africa) and currently works in Ghana (West Africa).
He is a Chartered Financial Economist (ICCE, USA), Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA, CIMA-UK), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA, AICPA-USA), a Chartered Global Investment Analyst (CGIA, USA), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance (CILG, USA), and a Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD, Ghana).
He holds an EAP Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Financing from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA; a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, and a Masters in Applied Business Research in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swiss Business School, Switzerland; an MBA in International Business, and a BBA in Strategic Management from Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion (ENCG) - Agadir in Morocco.
He was trained as a professional banker in International Business, Credit Management, Project Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by the Bank Société Générale with Business and Retail Banking experience in France, Morocco, and Ghana, and won multiple awards including the National Best Employee (Silver Category), 2015 in Ghana.
He is currently a lecturer in Strategic Management, Finance, and Entrepreneurship at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED).
He is also the CEO/Chief Consultant of Xtart Biz Consult where he consults and plays major roles in many business start-ups, merger - acquisition, fundraising, partnership and collaboration, feasibility studies for international companies intending to establish subsidiaries in Ghana or West Africa; the author of the book, Intentional Wealth 2.0 – Building with The Pentagon Wealth Model, and the convenor of the Intentional Wealth Concourse.
He desires to shape the next generational thinkers and doers. Passionate about being a Change Agent, he engages in a number of volunteering works.
He initiated and currently runs The Duah Mentoring (TDM) Club 100 Programme, where yearly, he mentors about 100 young people - between the ages of 18 years and 40 years - in key areas such as leadership, entrepreneurship, wealth creation, and career guidance.
He has also served as a keynote speaker, panellist, and key participant at different business events organized by YouthConnekt Africa, British Council, National Youth Authority - Ghana, Ministry of Youth and Sports – Ghana, SNV, Ashoka Africa, AAMUSTED, KNUST, IMANI Africa, AMADEUS, ASLEM among others in Ghana, Morocco, Nigeria, and South Africa among others.
