The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main market indicator, dropped 16.91 points to close at 6,651.81 points, up from 6,668.72 points during Monday’s trading on the Accra bourse.
The Change Year to Date now stands at 19.37 per cent.
Traded volume closed the session at 131,646 shares valued at GH¢115,852.00, while shares of 16 equities were sold.
On the broader market, there were eight price changes, five negatives and three positives.
Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) and SG-SSB Limited (SG-SSB) lost GH¢0.02 each to close at GH¢0.25 and GH¢0.63 respectively while Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG); Fan Milk Limited (FML) and UT Bank Limited (UTB) lost GH¢0.01 each to close at GH¢2.96; GH¢8.60 and GH¢0.25 in that order.
Golden Star Resources Limited (GSR) led the gainers with a share price increase of GH¢0.31 to close at GH¢4.81; Total Petroleum Ghana Limited (TOTAL) went up GH¢0.06 to close at GH¢9.06 and SIC Insurance Company Limited (SIC) appreciated by GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢0.38.
Market Capitalization closed the session at GH¢18,815.67 million from GH¢18,750.09 million.
