The relationship between AC Milan and Sulley Muntari is over.
The club parts ways with the 30-year-old who joined Milan on loan in January 2012 from Inter. Before then, he'd been at Sunderland.
Muntari has played just 57 league games in three years since then boss Massimiliano Allegri gave him a permanent contract.
Milan finished 10th last season in Serie A and its is widely believed Muntari himself wanted out of the team, even before now boss Sinisa Mihajlovic was appointed earlier this month.
Last season, the Ghana midfielder played 16 league games.
The rumour mill has linked him with a move to Major League Soccer, Portugal and the Far East as well as Everton and Schalke.
