The Abudu Royal Family of Dagbon says it was unhappy about what it described as the seemingly stalled peace process in the area.
The youth of Abudu say the continued delay in the implementation of the road map set by the Committee of three eminent chiefs had the potential to derail efforts to bring lasting peace to the traditional area.
General Secretary of the group Alhassan Iddris told Luv FM in Kumasi that 15 months after the burial and installation of a regent for the late Ya-Na Yakubu Andani II, there were no indications as to when the funeral of the late Ya-Na Mahamadu Abdulai would be performed as spelt out in the road map.
Mr. Iddris said the youth of Abudu were frustrated and were losing confidence in the process.
He therefore called on government and the committee of Eminent Chiefs to expedite action on the road map to prevent Dagbon from falling into another crisis.
