Finali Limited, the company that owns the Airport Hills residential area, has confirmed that Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, does not own a property in the estate but is a tenant.
This clarification comes after Ablakwa petitioned the company to provide official documentation to the Appointments Committee of Parliament, following claims by the Minority that he owns the property.
In a letter addressed to the Appointments Committee on Monday, 3rd February, Finali Limited provided details of Ablakwa’s tenancy arrangement.

The company stated that a tenancy agreement was signed on 1st March 2017 between Husni Altheebeh and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Nuhela Seidu, with Finali Limited granting consent for the arrangement on 8th August 2018.
The letter further confirmed that a renewal agreement was signed on 1st March 2022, and the tenancy is still in effect.
This official statement contradicts claims by the Minority that Ablakwa owns the Airport Hills residence under a different name.
By making the documents public, the Foreign Affairs Minister aims to put an end to speculations and prove his transparency.
“The tenancy is still subsisting, and the requisite consent has been granted thereon,” the letter from Finali Limited read, reinforcing that Ablakwa remains a tenant.
With this clarification, Ablakwa has sought to clear any doubts about his property ownership status.
