Namibia’s Walter Kautondokwa has labeled Ghanaian Obodai Sai as a weak boxer after defeating him to defend his WBO Africa middleweight title.
The Namibian stopped Sai in the fifth round of their bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena to keep his record unblemished and record his 14th knockout victory in 15 bouts.
His strength and height advantage proved decisive in the tie but he felt his opponent was weak overall.
The undefeated boxer had called Sai a quitter and vowed to make his opponent quit again, and true to his word, the Ghanaian failed to respond to the call of referee Roger Barnor.
“The bout was very easy and had wanted to knock down the Ghanaian boxer in the 4th round but was saved by the bell.”
“I feel very blessed because of the record am keeping. He is weak [Obodai Sai] and does not throw punches at me whenever I make advances towards him so I seized the opportunity to punish him,” he added
Kautondokwa has ruled out any chance of a re-match with Obodai Sai.
