The city of Tema is home to many Ghanaian talents. Notable amongst them are Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, R2bees, Dr Cryme, and Kayso just to mention a few.

Adding to the list of talented creatives from the Greater Accra city is Fifi Asiamah Kusi; popularly known as Tytanium, CEO of TY Media Color Production and a video colorist behind many music videos, short films and commercials.

As a video colorist, Tytanium's job is to enhance colors in a video and follow the directors' narrative visually.

Growing up, Tytanium has always loved colors. Among the many materials used in school, Tytanium had a soft spot for crayons. His love for colors, coupled with his parents' support led him to take a job as a video editor in 2018. Starting off with editing Kwesi Arthur’s "Grind Day," Tytanium had his first gig as a colorist, working on "Chuku" by the legendary group VVIP. "I was lucky to have understanding parents who understood the career path I wanted to take. This gave me the zeal to push for more," he said about his parents.

Since his emergence four years ago, Tytanium has worked on the music videos of several artists including Tory Lanez, Sarkodie, King Promise and Kizz Daniel. Adding to his global projects, Tytanium had the opportunity to work on a sports commercial for the London Basketball team “London Lions," which he deems one of his biggest achievements. His works have gained recognition from international platforms like The Colorist Society and Lightville Magazine.

Working with clients from different parts of the world could get overwhelming sometimes. For Tytanium, watching films on Netflix have helped him cope with the stress and pressure from work. In addition to relieving his stress, he receives inspiration from a variety of looks and feels to try in his subsequent projects.

It is his hope to work with American film directors Colin Tilley and Dave Meyers. The main item on his bucket list is working on feature-length films.
