Former Finance Minister and one of the aspirants contesting the NPP flagbearership, Mr. Yaw Osafo Maafo is officially launching his campaign in Kumasi on Friday.
He will be the latest among the 19 aspirants who have launched their campaigns.
The ceremony which is scheduled to start at 2pm will be broadcast live on Adom FM and on Nhyira FM, both sister stations of Joy FM.
His aides say Mr Osafo Maafo chose to launch the campaign in the Ashanti Region because he believes majority of the delegates will be coming from there.
Jesse Agyepong, a member of Osafo Maafo’s campaign team says the ceremony will also afford Mr. Osafo Maafo the opportunity to outline his vision.
