The Atwima Nwabiagya District Health Insurance Scheme in the Ashanti Region has initiated moves to provide services to its clients at the doorsteps.
Consequently, kiosks are to be erected at vantage points to facilitate the work of the Scheme in communities in the district.
Mr. James Agyarko Poku, the Scheme Manager, told GNA at Nkawie that receipts would be issued promptly to people who would make payments at the designated points and the cards would take effect from the date of payment.
He explained that the measure was to solve the problem of clients travelling long distances to either register with the scheme or collect their card from Nkawie.
Mr. Agyarko Poku said the scheme would check its agents against fraud and other financial malfeasance.
He appealed to assembly members to assist the agents in the discharge of their duties.
