The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Peter Mac Manu is due for Kampala, Uganda to attend Leadership and Executive Meeting of Democratic Union of Africa (DUA) from the October 18 - 20.
Mr Manu is the Chairman of DUA, a union of democratic centre-right political parties in Africa, adhering to and upholding democratic tenets such as individual freedom, human rights, economic freedoms and property owning rights as well as supporting the society's weak and vulnerable to enable them stand on their own.
The Leadership and Executive Meeting will have as its focus, discussions on campaigning and party development for its members. It will also serve as a forum for members to share examples of their campaigning strategies and grassroots development of their parties.
DUA is an affiliate of the International Democratic Union (IDU), an international union of democratic political parties.
