Tweneboah-Koduah wows Tigo Glitz Fashion Week

As she posed on the runway with a gentle smile, dressed in auto-cute African wear while two women did her nails and another did her makeup, Benedicta Tweneboah-Koduah of Ghana knew the night she had longed for had finally arrived with the Tigo Glitz Africa Fashion Week. The Ghanaian-trained journalist, who is also a model with a strong passion for fashion, joined the lists of models for the August 17, 2012 Tigo Glitz Africa Fashion Week. Tigo Glitz Africa Fashion Week is a special annual platform created for top designers across Africa to showcase their works. This year’s Tigo Glitz Africa Fashion Week, which drew many fashion lovers across the world, was held at the Accra International Conference Center. The three-day event featured top African fashion houses, brands, models and designers across Africa including Pearl Amoah (Ghana), Ophelia Crossland (Ghana), Aya Morrison (Ghana), Akushi Clothing (Ghana). The rest were N’kya Designs (Ghana), Sa4a (Ghana), Mina Evans (Ghana), Kolture Apparel (Ghana), Felicien Castermann (Benin), Wana Sambo Clothing (Nigeria), House of Farrah (Nigeria), Modela Couture (Nigeria), Dio Ali (Cameroon), and Black Pepper (South Africa). They all showed class and made the show a success. Present at the show was a fashion freak, the former First Lady of Ghana Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, as well as Dorine Andoh of Joy FM’s cosmopolitan show, Chris Attoh, and others.
