Reverend Father Paul Atta-Nsiah, Administrator of the Saint Gabriel's Catholic Church at Konongo in the Asante-Akim North District of the Ashanti Region, has charged church leaders to uphold tenets of the Bible towards the growth and development of the Church.
He said this would assist them to lead upright lives to retain the good image of Christendom.
Rev. Father Atta-Nsiah made the call at Konongo last Sunday at a send-off service held for Rev. Father Edward Baah-Baafi, Assistant Administrator of the Church, who is on transfer to the Buoho branch of the Catholic Church.
He entreated the leaders to step up efforts to stamp out corruption, indiscipline and social vices from the Church, adding, "we should discharge our duties honestly devoid of fear or favour."
Rev. Father Atta-Nsiah, said it was about time the Church leaders called indisciplined members towards the growth of Christendom.
