Dr Francis Nii Annang Sowah, New Patriotic Party's (NPP) parliamentary candidate for La Dadekotopon in election 2008, has appealed to party members to be united.
Dr Sowah said for the NPP to win the constituency seat, its members must forget about their differences and unite as one people.
"For us to win back the seat, we must unite and campaign against the opposition," he said on Sunday during a reconciliation get-together he organized for party members.
"The time for petty quarrelling among us is past, now it is time for us to unite our front to capture the seat again", Dr Sowah said.
Donating one million cedis to the Osu Children's Home (OCH) during the get-together, he said the presentation was to augment the care given to the children by the home.
Miss Agnes Abolimpoh, Case Worker of the OCH who received the donation, thanked Dr Sowah and called on other political party candidates to assist the home.
Mrs Gladys Mann Dedey, constituency chairperson, said the get-together was an evidence of unity among members and appealed to members to keep the unity and work towards winning the seat.
