The Police Domestic Violence Unit at Kaneshie in Accra is promising to get higher prison terms for irresponsible men defiling minors.
The Kaneshie DOVVSU sounded the warning after hauling a man to court for defiling a fourteen year old girl.
The girl was allegedly deceived by Kwesi Bamfo, a court clerk, who sexually abused her in his home and took her purse containing her school fees.
Kaneshie DOVVSU Commander, DSP Anita Abrokwa, told Joy News her outfit is stepping up its game to get such men locked up in jail as a punishment and protection for girls.
