Eden Micro-finance Limited, a fast-growing micro-finance company has opened its new branch in the Greater Accra Region to offer banking services to the unbanked and the under banked in the capital.
Eden, which has its headquarters in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, offers micro finance services to support viable economic ventures as a way of promoting economic growth to help improve the living standard of its customers.
The financial institution, which commenced operations in March 24, 2011 currently boasts 20 active branches with over 60,000 customers nationwide.
At a brief ceremony to open the Accra office, the Executive Board Chairman of Eden group, William Adom Boateng said they are determined to become the finance company of choice through the provision of micro-finance and business education.
He indicated that the bank has its corporate vision as distinguished service, exceptional customer satisfaction, foremost among equals in Ghana therefore Eden would be a profitable partner in its communities of operation.
The Board Chairman noted that the difference between Eden and other micro-finance companies is the guarantor-free, no security for loans and timely delivery of financing to clients.
He said customers could open an account with a minimum of GH¢ 1.00 and qualify for a half piece of cloth for every GH¢100 they deposit.
“We offer products like Eden Business, Eden Nkosuo, Eden Foundation, Eden Emergency Loan, Eden Housing Loan as well as Super Eden to cater for customers both in the formal and informal sectors of the economy," he stated.
Mr. Adom Boateng was optimistic Eden would be a household name with six new branches to their credit at the end of the year.
