Sole authorized dealer of Renault vehicles in Ghana, Premium Motors Limited has donated assorted clothing to the Dzorwulu Special School in Accra.
The items included ladies and gents’ underwears, dresses, blouses, shorts, shirts and cardigans.
The gesture forms part of the car dealer’s Corporate Social Responsibility aimed at reaching out to the vulnerable in the society.
The items were handed to the school headmistress, Veronica Sackey by Premium Motors Marketing Manager, Shirry Borketey Manison and Administrator, Lilian Augusto.
“Our sales and operations have been good and as a responsible corporate institution we decided to make this donation to the school,” Mr Manison said.
He explained the donation is part of a “bigger initiative” by the company to alleviate the plight of the poor.
“We identified clothing as a special need and as part of the ‘passion for help initiative’ we saw the school as our first point of call,” Mr Manison added.
An elated Veronica Sackey thanked the representatives of Premium Motors for the ‘bronya clothes’ donation.
“I am happy to say that although our needs were requested late, you have been able to fulfil your promise,” she said.
She implored other corporate institutions to emulate the initiative of Premium Motors.
After the donation, the representatives of automobile company spent time with children of the school.
