Nissan said Thursday it will recall almost 250,000 vehicles worldwide over a loose sensor that could cause fuel leaks in the worst cases.
The recall of 249,522 vehicles covers seven models, a Nissan spokesman said.
The models are the Juke, made in Japan and Britain, the Japanese-made Serena, Patrol, Infiniti M and Infiniti QX, the China-made Tiida, and the Micra made in India, a spokesman said.
Of the total, 92,679 recalls were in Japan, the spokesman said, adding that the problem had not caused any accidents anywhere in the world.
