They are Vivian Arhin, 35, trader, who is the wife of the fugitive and Bernard Quarshie, a 45-yeasr-old driver stood surety for the accused person, Thomas Odoi.
According to prosecutor DSP James Kofi Abraham, Odoi alias Lover, together with three others in February last year sold a piece of land valued at GH¢ 3,800 (38 million cedis) to a man at Gbawe in Accra.
He said the complainant later realized that the land had been sold to another person and contacted the accused persons who promised to give him a new piece of land or refund his money, but they could not fulfill their promise.
DSP Abraham said in September last year the four accused persons were arrested upon a report lodged by the complainant.
They were granted bail in the sum of 120 million cedis each with two sureties each, but they all went into hiding.
He said in May this year, Vivian Arhin and Bernard Quarshie who stood surety for Thomas Odoi were on numerous occasions invited to the court but they refused hence their arrest on 16th August.
They were both granted bail in the sum of 120 million cedis each to reappear on 19 September.
