The Board of Guinness Ghana Breweries has appointed Peter Ndegwa as the company’s new Managing Director. Mr. Ndegwa takes over from Ekwunife Okoli who has tended in his resignation which also takes effect on December 4.
Mr. Ekwunife Okoli who has been the MD of Guinness Ghana since July 2009 has been assigned a new role within Diageo plc, the majority shareholder of Guinness Ghana. He is to also continue serving on the Board of the company as a non Executive Director.
The new MD, Mr. Ndegwa is currently the Group Finance Director of East Africa Brewery Limited and a non executive director of Guinness Ghana breweries. He is expected to assume office on December 04.
