Youth-focused NGO, Talent Hunt Foundation, is set to hold a maiden technology fair to facilitate the transfer of practical knowledge in areas like 3D printing/modeling, electronics, programming among others.
The event, scheduled for September 14 to 16 2017, is being organized in collaboration with Ketu South Municipal Assembly.
Over 20 tech companies from all over Ghana are expected to participate in the fair that will be held at Somey Senior High School Agbozume in the Volta Region.
Executive Director, Talent Hunt Foundation, Mawufemor Kofi Folivi, says the fair is informed by the realization that technology is playing a central role in businesses, and in every facet of people’s lives.
“It is in the spirit of exposing the youth to technology products and how technology is providing solutions to problems that Talent Hunt aspires to organize a technology fair,” he explained.
The organizers hope that the fair will pique participants’ interest in technology in a way that will culminate into lots of technology-related careers and entrepreneurship drives.
