A Local Service Provider is threatening to drag the Ghana Airforce and the Ministry of defense to court to seek damages for breach of contract.
Macro Logistics claims the Airforce failed to honour its part of the contract entered into with the company.
The claim follows allegations the Ghana Airforce did not use a component of the rent paid to it by Oil and Gas Company operating from the Takoradi Air force base to pay their electricity bills leading to power disconnections to the companies.
Joy news has learnt that lawyers of Micro Logistics are preparing a suit against the Ministry of Defense because in December last year the Airforce dispatched armed soldiers to forcefully eject Micro Logistics from operating on the said land.
The action led to the company losing a colossal amount of money for the period that the Airforce prevented them from doing business.
He said Micro Logistics have since October this year began removing it offshore drilling equipments and pipes thereby terminating the contract.
One of the lawyers told Joy News they will be seeking to prevent further disruption of their business by the Airforce and seek damages for breach of contract.
