Asante Kotoko head coach Steve Pollack says they paid dearly for bad officiating.
“I think the best team lost to a bad decision. I saw a lot of things wrong in everything (officiating). I’m not disappointed in my boys, I’m just disappointed in the result,”
Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttal was left frustrated by Aduana Stars time-wasting antics.
“I feel we absolutely deserved to get the three points today. I think it is quite clear to everyone who watched the game today what went on. It is not certainly the way me as a coach or my players will play a game. I didn’t realise that time out existed in football. I thought that was only for basketball so I was quite surprised to see so many time outs,”
“And the goal keeper miraculous recoveries to produce some fantastic saves. So clearly they have a wonderful medical department that clearly has more than a magic span to be able to help the player to recover and revive himself as quickly as he was able to produce the saves that he produced. We are clearly disappointed with some of the antics that went on today and I don’t feel it is a very good impression of Ghanaian football. This is not very good for Ghanaian football,” he added.

However, Aduana coach Yusif Abubakar has accused Nuttall of verbally abusing him.
“Unfortunately, the same coach insulted me several times on the touchline”.
“He has called me shit, stupid coach and a lot of names in the presence of everybody. This is getting outdated in Ghana, but I will not report him officially to the FA.”
“The team manager of Hearts of Oak asked me to smoke peace pipe with him, so after the game, the manager was taking me to go and shake hands with him and he snubbed me and insulted me again”.
“ I wish I could put my CV down and then he also put his down then he will know where some of us have done our courses not only in Ghana .Back in 2007 , I had a UEFA licence A course in Germany.”

For Hearts of Oak playmaker Winful Cobbinah, they can still claim their first league title in nine years.
“Our chance of winning the League title this season is not over at all, I believe we are still in the race,”
“We still have four games left, two home and two away. Great Olympics drew with West African Football Academy (WAFA) and Aduana Stars will also face WAFA, so we have to work hard as a team to win our last game and close the gap”.
“Since both teams are on top of the table, if one team loses and we win our next game, it’s very likely that we can climb up to the top of the league log”.
