Ghanaian international Derrick Boateng says he is fit and ready to play in the Black Stars double-header against Nations Cup Co-host Gabon and Sierra Leone this weekend.
Derrick gave plaudits to Black Stars head coach Goran Stevanovic and welcomed the new call ups into the national team.
He told Asempa fm that the team will miss the services of their inspirational captain John Mensah because he is a real leader.
When quizzed about Kevin Prince Boateng’s resignation from the Black Stars Derrick Boateng said it is none of his business and is only concerned about how he can help his colleagues in the national team to win trophies for the nation.
Boateng now features for Ukrainian side Dnipro having left Spanish side Getafe earlier this season.
