Immediate past vice president of the Ghana Olympic Committee Frank Appiah has vowed to still go to court over the recently held disputed congress.
Mr. Frank Appiah together with some aggrieved members of the Ghana Olympic committee believes things were not done properly in last month’s congress which saw professor dodo elected as president of the association.
The International Olympic Committee on Tuesday endorsed the results and accepted the new President Francis Doudu and his team of executives in a communiqué signed by signed by Pere Miro, National Olympic Committee Relations Director and General Lassana Palenfo who is President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa.
According to frank Appiah, the IOC’s endorsement of the newly elected executives does not mean anything to him and his faction as far as they are concerned but will pursue the matter in court.
“The IOC is bound to accept the results since their observer wrote a free and fair report which was otherwise, so the court here will decide”. Appiah told JOY Sports.
