Towering Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Vincent Atinga has been invited by head Coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah to join the team ahead of the second leg of the Championship of African Nations qualifier.
Vincent Atinga, who is having an amazing season with the Phobians has been ever-present in defence for Accra Hearts of Oak.
Following the disappointing 2-2 draw in Burkina Faso in the CHAN qualifiers first leg, it was clear there were defensive frailties hence, the reason for the team to be augmented ahead of the second leg.
The strong defender joins Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Ahmed Adams who was also handed an invitation early on Monday morning.
He is expected to report to the team’s training camp base in Pampram, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.
The technical team of the Black Stars team B hopes the arrival of the player will improve the defense of the team.
